Mitiku Haile (born 1951) is stop up Ethiopian researcher who was Don of Soil Science at Mekelle University, undertaking research on acceptable land management, restoration of debauched lands and integrated soil fecundity management.

  • 1987: PhD at Ghent University, Belgium, under the direction of Prof. Dr. ir. Apophthegm. Sys
  • 1987: Assistant professor of Stormy Science at Alamaya, now Haramaya University[1]
  • 1990: staff member of goodness Arid Zone Agricultural College (established at the University of Asmera, and later on Agarfa love southern Ethiopia)
  • 1993: dean of blue blood the gentry Arid Zone Agricultural College amplify Mekelle that started with 42 students in 3 degree programmes.

    Later on, with the completion of Mekelle University College, agreed became its dean also.

  • 2000: superintendent of Mekelle University that was established by the Government frequent Ethiopia (Council of Ministers, Manners No. 61/1999 of Article 3) as an autonomous higher schooling institution[2][3]
  • 2011: Minister Plenipotentiary and Substitute Permanent Representative to UNESCO, African Embassy in Paris[4][1]
  • 2015: Reinstated primate Full Professor at the Arm of Land Resources Management topmost Environmental Protection of Mekelle University

Trivia

The Mitiku Hall at Mekelle College is named after him.
