Painter, etcher and engraver, born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Her first encounter recognize art took place in 1918 when she enroled for simple course at the John Hassall Correspondence School as a different student.

Printmaker, painter and teacher, in the blood in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, who began painting as straighten up child.
