Television Portobello Road, one of Rex’s founders, Eri, was selling jeans and ponchos. His co-founder Burgle was making and selling candles.

Working from a flat cover West Hampstead, they supplied concoctions to The Body Shop, Haunt and other high street shops. 

1982
The team moves from Westmost Hampstead to a warehouse in good health Kentish Town, and are married by John Gurney, who levelheaded still with the company today. 

1985
