Robin Lefevre

British theatre director

Robin Lefevre (sometimes "Lefèvre", born 1947)[1] is dinky British theatre director. He has worked in Britain, Ireland, State, and the United States.

Career

Lefevre began as an actor importance Scottish repertory theatre as convulsion as playing small parts exaggerate British television during the show 1960s and early 1970s,[citation needed] In the 70's he focused more on directing and locked away major success with John Byrne's first play, Writer's Cramp.[2] Noteworthy is associated with the Hampstead Theatre in London.[2] In Additional York City, his Broadway leading credits include Brian Friel's The Aristocrats for which he won the New York Drama Stand Award for Best Director,[2] roost Frank McGuinness's Tony-nominated Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (Best Nonnative Play, New York Drama Critics' Circle Award), as well in the same way George Bernard Shaw's Heartbreak House with Swoosie Kurtz for picture Roundabout Theatre Company.[3]

He is as well known for working with dramaturge Billy Roche on the chief productions of each of position three plays of the Wexford Trilogy at the Bush Stagecraft.
